My name is Christine Hardway, and I have been a Counselor in Tampa for over 10 years proving counseling for: Couples, Individuals, and Families. My areas of expertise are in Marriage Counseling, Anxiety Counseling, Grief and Loss Counseling, Stress Management, and Crisis Management.

Individual Therapy:
Much of life is about relationships: your relationship with yourself and your relationships with others. Psychotherapy helps you to better understand your emotional and interpersonal life, e.g., the ways that you relate to yourself and to others. This self-understanding can be important for feeling better and for succeeding both personally in relationships and professionally in one’s career path.
I treat people who most frequently are experiencing anxiety, depression or relationship issues. An area of interest of mine is working long-term with clients to develop and improve their lives for today and tomorrow.
Couples Therapy:
In my work with couples I attempt to provide a setting in which both partners can safely explore their relationship, better understand their difficulties, and bring about desired change. Couples need to be able to discuss sensitive topics without becoming defensive or attacking. I help couples safely explore difficult issues from each person’s perspective. I attempt to clarify and improve your communication, increase understanding, and help you work towards solutions.
My work with couples includes: pre-marital, marital, and relationship counseling. Some of the issues that I help couples address are: resolving communication problems premarital concerns turning anger and conflict into healthy and caring conversations developing ways to talk about jealousy, anger, sex, money, and other sensitive subjects working through infidelity or commitment issues
